My Story
Hi my name is Lucas James Waitkuweit and I am an aspiring Game Designer who wants to break into the industry so I can fulfill my dream of creating fun experiences for fellow video game enjoyers like myself.
My childhood was heavily impacted by gaming, the countless hours of joy I have had playing a variety of games has inspired me as a person to give back and give that same joy to future generations of gamers. I have poured this passion that I have into many side projects, each one made to further my knowledge as a game designer and grow. Many of these projects are for the digital card game Hearthstone, as this game in particular had a huge impact on my life. These projects include Custom Expansions that look to tell new stories and introduce exciting new mechanics to the game, as well as Class Reworks that I made to reimagine what the original Classes could look like.
Sharing the love I have for Game Design is also something I have enjoyed doing with my YouTube channel dedicated to showing off the ideas I come up with. This channel has also helped me grow as a designer with feedback I've gotten from my followers.
